This project is an architectural and social enhancement of a historic residence from the late 19th century, set within a 30,000-square-meter park along Viale degli Angeli.

The intervention involves the conservative restoration of the villa’s original core and the former barn, alongside the construction of a new extension. The aim is to preserve the historical architectural features while harmoniously integrating the new volumes into the surrounding landscape. The three buildings – the villa, the former barn, and the extension – will house a variety of residential units, including studios, one-bedroom apartments, and lofts, as well as shared spaces designed to foster social interaction and inclusion.

Special attention has been given to the quality of outdoor areas and the relationship between buildings and park, with the goal of returning a historically, environmentally, and socially valuable place to the city. The redevelopment of Villa Luchino is part of a broader urban regeneration strategy focused on collaborative living, offering new co-housing opportunities and community services for local residents.
