The project was conceived to mend an urban fracture: it reconstructs the street frontage along Via Gozzi, replacing a former parking structure and realigning with the existing heights and volumes. The new building integrates respectfully into the Milanese forma urbis, contributing to the continuity of the public realm.

The volume engages with its context through a carefully composed interplay of solids and voids, terraces and courtyards, mineral materials and transparent surfaces. The façades echo the classical Milanese tripartition: a Ceppo di Gré stone base, a central body with loggias, and a recessed top that harmonizes with the skyline.

Green spaces – distributed across internal courtyards, communal gardens, and planted terraces – create a layered system of public, semi-public, and private domains. Vegetation plays an active role in the design, enhancing residential well-being and fostering integration with the urban landscape.

Inside, the architecture adopts a freer, more organic language: courtyards open in sinuous forms, embracing light and greenery, and shaping contemporary domestic living spaces. The upper levels, featuring pergolas and terraces, break up the volume and establish a dialogue with the city’s rooftops.
