The MIND – Milano Innovation District – project represents one of the most ambitious urban regeneration and innovation initiatives in Europe. Developed on the site of Expo 2015, MIND spans over one million square meters on the outskirts of Milan, forming a unique ecosystem where scientific research, business, education, and quality of life come together in a visionary model for the city of the future.

The district will host leading institutions such as Human Technopole, the Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio Hospital, the scientific campus of the University of Milan, along with numerous biotech, digital, and life sciences accelerators and startups.

At the heart of MIND’s vision is the creation of an inclusive, sustainable, and multifunctional environment – designed to attract international companies, institutions, researchers, students, and citizens alike. The masterplan includes spaces for research and work that are both innovative and experimental, marked by high specialization and advanced technologies. The integration of diverse functions promotes innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The project creates welcoming, vibrant environments and explores advanced solutions in both technology and sustainability, aiming to build an open, dynamic, and future-oriented city – where collective well-being, sustainability, and innovation form the foundation of work, learning, and everyday life.
