The Meyer Health Campus, inaugurated in Florence in 2022, is the result of the transformation of a former high school into an international hub for pediatric training, research, and innovation. Its simulation environments for operating rooms and inpatient care represent a benchmark in Europe, a distinction shared only with leading North American institutions.

The project is grounded in a modern vision of hospitality within a public healthcare context and features two design-driven auditoriums. Overall, the campus is built on principles of functionality, comfort, livability, and aesthetics—seamlessly integrating advanced technologies and sustainable solutions to create a high-quality environment for students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.

Characterized by bright, flexible, and technologically advanced spaces, the campus includes a centralized multimedia system for the integrated control and management of classrooms and auditoriums. Architectural acoustics have been carefully designed to ensure optimal comfort during educational and training activities, while customized furnishings – such as panic-safe chairs with built-in power outlets – combine functionality with refined design.
