The project involves four central areas of Firenzuola—Porta Bolognese, Porta Fiorentina, Via Roma, and Via dello Sport—and focuses on the revitalization of public space through new street furniture, paving, and green areas. The intervention restores continuity and identity to some of the town’s most frequented places.

The proposal reflects on the role of the urban ground as a key element in shaping and perceiving space. Paving becomes a narrative surface – able to engage with the surrounding architecture and guide both the eye and movement through the city.

The ground design reinterprets historical traces and visual pathways, strengthening the connection between urban geometry and everyday experience. Surfaces are crafted with attention to detail and to the interplay of materials, light, and built volumes.
